*L’espressione green computing nasce nel 1992, quando l’Environmental Protection Agency lancia il programma “Energy Star”, che si pone l‘obiettivo di valutare e promuovere l’efficienza energetica dei monitor e di altre apparecchiature elettroniche. A che punto siamo oggi? In Elmec vogliamo essere assoluti protagonisti del cambiamento e siamo convinti che il ruolo delle imprese sia fondamentale per incidere in maniera importante sul raggiungimento degli obiettivi di sostenibilità globali. Insieme a Apple progettiamo business workplaces sostenibili attraverso prodotti che entro il 2030 saranno a impatto zero.*

*Dalla consapevolezza di quanto sia delicata e fondante la fase di onboarding delle nuove risorse è nata la decisione di ripensare e integrare il nostro **Start Program**, ovvero il processo di inserimento dei neoassunti in Elmec. Riflettendo su quale fosse il modo migliore di accogliere i nostri colleghi, abbiamo pensato di lanciare un **evento in presenza** che permettesse di “andare oltre” la propria quotidianità in reparto e vedere dal vivo i volti di chi ha costruito l’azienda in cui lavoriamo, di chi la rappresenta ogni giorno, di chi decide quale direzione prenderà negli anni a venire. Si tratta anche di una nuova modalità, più semplice ed efficace, per raccontare i valori cardine della nostra realtà.*

Non c’è dubbio che il 2021 abbia segnato un grande traguardo per Elmec Informatica: abbiamo celebrato i nostri primi **50 anni** nel mondo dell’information technology integrando tecnologie innovative nelle nostre soluzioni, creando nuovi nuclei operativi e riorganizzando i team tecnici dedicati ai servizi gestiti. Lo scorso anno abbiamo raggiunto risultati che non avremmo mai immaginato in passato, affrontando cambiamenti improvvisi e repentini e adattandoci a nuovi contesti sempre più sfidanti. Insieme ai tanti progetti che procedono in continuità con gli anni passati, come ufficio HR abbiamo introdotto anche delle novità dedicate ai nostri colleghi e moltre altre ci aspettano nel 2022.
